How do I download and install Ganyat on my Windows PC?
Download Ganyat-Setup.exe from the Download section. Double-click the file to install. If Windows shows a warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway". After installation, open the app and create your shop — it connects to our cloud automatically. Full guide: Setup Guide.
What is a "Shop Code" and can I change it?
A Shop Code is a unique short identifier for your shop (e.g., rameshstore). It's used to log in and keep your data separate from other shops. Shop Code cannot be changed after registration — choose it carefully. Use lowercase letters and numbers only, no spaces.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Contact us via WhatsApp or email with your Shop Code. We'll verify your identity and reset your admin password manually. A self-service password reset feature is coming soon.
My invoice PDF is not generating. What should I do?
Make sure your internet is connected. Also check that a PDF template is selected in Settings → Shop Profile. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or contact support with a screenshot.
Can I run Ganyat on multiple computers?
Yes! Install the Ganyat app on as many Windows PCs as you want. All PCs connect to the same cloud account and see the same data in real time. Your Pro subscription allows up to 10 users simultaneously.
How does the barcode scanner work?
Ganyat supports USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners. Simply connect your scanner — it works as a keyboard input device. When creating an invoice or adding a product, click in the barcode field and scan — the product is automatically looked up and added.
How do WhatsApp invoice notifications work?
When enabled, Ganyat sends a WhatsApp message to the customer with a unique link to view their invoice online — no app download needed for the customer. Set it up in Settings → Notifications.
Is there a mobile app?
Currently Ganyat is available as a Windows desktop app. A native Android app and web browser access are on our roadmap — coming soon!
Can I get a GST invoice for my subscription?
Yes! After payment, Razorpay sends a payment confirmation automatically. Contact us with your GSTIN and we'll issue a GST invoice for your subscription within 24 hours.
